RavenHQ database sizes are calculated to include the space required for all documents and indexes, and nothing more. Other hosted MongoDB providers compute their space requirements to include items like temporary files and log files. Therefore, these other providers need to provide plans that are significantly larger in size, even though they don't necessarily allow you to store a larger number of documents.
